During these hands-on classes and training opportunities, students will use the latest hair styles and products. These hands-on opportunities allow students to gain in-depth familiarity with popular product lines that prospective clients are looking for. In addition, with our continuous career development and business training classes, Genesis’ master barber graduates have the flexibility to join an existing barbershop, start their own business, or pursue career opportunities in product sales or instruction. You will not only gain technical knowledge and skill but receive guidance on etiquette, professionalism, communication, personal appearance, and sanitation. Your future awaits, and you can begin this exciting journey right away. Genesis’ master barber school offers new classes every month— no need to wait until the following semester.

What Will I Learn?

Your barber training will include theory and practical techniques. You also can train on the shop floor, getting hands-on practice and building your confidence as you cut clients’ hair. With our 1,000-hour program, you’ll learn such subjects as:

Haircutting and hairstyling
